Gram Stain Thoughts

This is an abstract series I have enjoyed making. To make these pieces I use a lot of time, patience, and metal. The end result is something that reminds me of a “Gram Stain” or a bacteria slide that one would see under a microscope. I have seen a handful of slides, but not enough to be anything more than the most casual observer of Gram Stain slides so for me there is something still strange, foreign and yet familiar about them.
