This piece was an experiment in playing with enamels, which is a more oil-based material than the acrylics I usually work with. These enamels are supposed to create a sort of stained glass effect.
For his piece I enjoy how the hand, tie and smile turned out. It may not be clear in the picture, but there is a buildup of material that interacts with the enamel, which created an effect I enjoyed quite a bit.
