This piece I completed in September of this year. It has been interesting to see people react to it. When I did this piece I had in mind moths flying to a lamp light and the sort of fluttering, surreal quality that had. Many people see water in this, as if fish are swimming up to a light. Regardless of various interpretations of this piece it has been well received.
It is called ‘lumen’, a unit measurement for light.
