Survived Lenior City Art Festiva! This is the second year I have done the Lenior City Art Festival and unfortunately it decided to rain pretty hard Saturday night. Thunder, lightening, the whole nine yards. I was lucky that I didn’t use an easy-up tent for this one because I saw some of them just collapsing under the weight of the rain itself. Some of the venders were so discouraged Saturday about what the weather would be like Sunday that they packed up and left.
My results? I sold the same amount on Sunday that I did Saturday, despite the weather and reduced crowd size. One thing I have learned about working art festivals is not to give up! Some of my best sales have been at the last minute of the day or during the rain.
