Ponce Spring Art Festvial! This is a relatively large art festival that is in the Atlanta area. AFFPS run.

This year it was sunny and no rain, but! it was very windy on Saturday so the little pollen seeds from the trees kept falling like snow. That’s hardly something to complain about! I was able to share my new Meteor shower tree pieces for this festival as well as get to see the reactions of customers to my newest pieces (namely Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I wasn’t sure how well that piece was going to translate!) While people did not always realize it was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, maybe because it’s an older piece of literature or because of my representation of it, I did still hear that it was a haunting and eerie piece sooo… I’ll take that as a success!

My parents and nephew also came by and so it’s always fun to get a friendly visit.

Sandy Springs Artzapoolza! Though I do art festivals with the AFFPS on occasion, I have not done THIS festival with them. Being that I am based out of Roswell, I am excited because it won’t be a long journey to get there! Sandy Springs is right next to where I live so the location is wonderful. Fingers crossed on the weather holding out for me.

Marietta Square Artist Market. This is a small artist market at the heart of downtown Marietta, but it is one of my favorite little festivals to be at. The ladies that run it are nice and it is next to a farmer’s market so I like to sneak over there and do some of my own food shopping. I put maybe next tot his one because the downtown Marietta area has been flagged for construction, but they did end up hosting it anyway!

Chastain Spring Arts Festival. This is another AFFPS festival that I have *technically* not done. I did their fall one last year but I have never done their Spring one. I have heard great things though so I am hoping to enjoy a great crowd for it. At this festival my neighbor was a guy named Jonathan Milton (see image with his card included) and he made some pretty interesting mobiles. He has an etsy shop called Big Mouth Mobiles. I included some pictures of his work here just to share.

Marietta Square Artist Market. This is a small artist market at the heart of downtown Marietta, but it is one of my favorite little festivals to be at.  I like the farmer’s market next door and just the sort of relaxed atmosphere that is there. Large festivals can be a little overwhelming sometimes (at least for me they can be…) For this one we ended up just have WONDERFUL weather!
